During Term Three we have enjoyed taking all our Bear Buddies home. Ben had a great time when he visited Mia. He got to meet Mia’s cousin, who is also called Ben. I bet they had a lot of things to talk about. He also had a big sleep in Mia’s bed. He looks very comfortable under Mia’s fluffy doona.
Our travelling Ben meets another Ben!
After all his adventures at Mia’s house, Ben is ready for a snooze.
Well, Boo the Bear certainly gets out and about. When he visited Brodie he had lots of new experiences. He rode a motorbike and hung out with some chickens. It is quite amazing the things he gets up to.
This term there have been some new faces floating around the grade Prep/One class. Our three new buddies have recently moved to Malmsbury from the inner city and have really enjoyed the warm welcome they have received.
Gordon, Ben and Boo have already enjoyed visiting most of the Grade Prep/One kids and are really looking forward to visiting the rest of the grade.
Which of the three buddies is your favourite?
What kind of life do you think Gordon, Ben and Boo might have lived before they came to Malmsbury?
Today we have done some story writing. We have been voting on the names of the three teddies that are in our room. Some people felt happy about the names but other people felt a bit upset because their names didn’t get voted for. We also did some alphabet work. We got all the letters that start at the top, not at the bottom. These are letters in the ‘c’ family. We all felt good about our handwriting today. We also played the monkey game. This is a popcorn monkey game. We had to guess the word and push the button to give the monkey popcorn. There were different levels that we played.
You can play it here http://www.fun4thebrain.com/English/popcornWords.html
Eliza’s lamb came to our school today. Eliza’s mum was giving it milk. It didn’t stop sucking it’s bottle until it was empty. It even kept sucking the bottle when it was empty. We patted it. We also saw a turtle pet today.
Today school was awesome. Today was a fun day for most of us.
